As I write this post today I am very excited. For the first time in ~18 months I'm actually going out for food & drinks
with my friends after work!

I've been out and about plenty throughout the entire "pandemic" period but this is different. This is the first Friday 
that has invoked the feelings of joy that I used to take for granted.  If I go back a couple of years, Friday afternoon 
office beers and then heading across the road to the pub was standard. Big up [Zuto](https://www.zuto.com/) :)

If you'd have said then that all that would change and pubs would close or that socialising with your friends would be 
discouraged, people would have looked at you like you were crazy. Yet here we are.  

Social life has literally been put on pause. Scrub that. Life has been put on pause. Everybody has just been expected
to sit and wait it out as if we're all going to get the time added back at the end. __Hint:__ *We're not!*

I won't get into that though that's another conversation. Today isn't about that kind of negativity. 
Today I choose to focus on the positive. Today I am happy and looking forward to seeing my friends and finally doing 
some living again!
